This is Angie Barker's senior studio project blog. The project is creating a new identity for a non-profit, more specifically The Community Table of Jackson County for my project (everyone else in my class picked their own.) The Community Table has been servicing Jackson County for over 10 years.
The "graying out" with the dotted line helps define the hierarchy more. Try reducing the number of flatware pieces and perhaps enlarging their tops/heads. I'd move the dotted line away from the type a bit for breathing room. Also try taking the type around the circle a bit more, making community center at the top. (try THE in lc, too?) EST. 1999 needs reducing...or eliminating. Is this part of the logo? One last thing. Open up the interior space in the pot...let your eye travel in and out so open the line. Draw the pot with a more dynamic line (try ink or pen and brush), then refine it but keep the motion/spontaneity.
SWEET! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love these logos so much more!
